The Oxford Music Online portal incorporates the full content of the Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, updated regularly, with several additional resources to enhance music research, including the Oxford Companion to Music (over 8,000 articles covering a wide range of subjects in music, including composers, performers, conductors, individual works, instruments and notation, forms and genres) and the Oxford Dictionary of Music (12,500 terms covering musical subjects of all kinds). International Index to Music Periodicals
IIMP draws its current content from more than 375 international music periodicals from over 20 countries, and also indexes feature music articles and obituaries appearing in The New York Times and The Washington Post. IIMP covers nearly all aspects of the world of music, from the most scholarly studies to the latest crazes. See the Title List for periodicals included. RILM (Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale) Abstracts of Music Literature
Major index to the scholarly literature of music contains over 300,000 records and includes citations and abstracts for articles, books, bibliographies, catalogues, dissertations, Festschriften, films and videos, iconographies, critical commentaries to complete works, ethnographic recordings, conference proceedings, and reviews.
