  A comprehensive full-text source on business topics, ABI/INFORM features scholarly research from peer-reviewed journals (including over 3,000 full-text publications), trade and industry news, 25,000 Dissertations, 14,000 SSRN working papers, key newspapers such as The Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times, as well as country-and industry-focused reports and data. Specialized subsidiary databases include accounting and tax news, banking and financial services news and research, proprietary information about more than 40,000 public and non-public companies and 225,000 key executives from Hoover's, pharmaceutical and telecommunications industry news, international market and industry research reports, and analytical articles covering world and regional economic and political developments of major significance. Academic Search Complete
  Large, interdisciplinary full-text database contains over 8,500 full-text publications, including academic journals, magazines, books, and trade publications. Offers broad subject coverage for a variety of disciplines, including anthropology, area studies, biology, chemistry, ethnic and multicultural studies, food science and technology, general science, geography, law, mathematics, music, pharmaceutical sciences, physics, psychology, religion and theology, women's studies, and many other fields. ACM Digital Library / Master SIG File / Guide to Computing Literature
  The Association for Computing Machinery's Digital Library includes the complete text of every article published in ACM journals, newsletters, and conference proceedings. Also included is the master file of the ACM's Special Interest Groups (SIGs), featuring hard-to-find conference proceedings papers and newsletter articles from all of the ACM's 39 SIGs. The site also features the ACM Guide to Computing Literature, a bibliographic database providing citations for over 750,000 journal articles, books, conference proceedings, doctoral dissertations, master's theses, and technical reports from over 3,000 publishers in the field of computing. America: History and Life
  Bibliographic database contains over 450,000 citations and abstracts for journal and magazine articles, book and media reviews, and dissertations covering the world's scholarly literature about the United States and Canada from prehistory to the present. Includes material from over 1,820 journals and magazines written in over 40 languages, although the majority of items were published in English. Most of the items in the database were issued after 1954. Many records contain links to full-text articles in other Library databases. [1954 - present]

Art Abstracts
  The Art Abstracts database provides high-quality indexing of over 600 periodicals covering all topics in art from 1984 to the present, including 280 peer-reviewed journals, as well as indexing and abstracting of over 13,000 art dissertations, and indexing of almost 200,000 art reproductions. Art Abstracts indexes publications from several countries covering fine, decorative and commercial art as well as photography, folk art, film, architecture, and much more. [1984 - present]

Biography Reference Bank (H.W. Wilson)

Biography Reference Bank is a full-text database covering over 660,000 individuals from antiquity to the present. Biographical information is provided through full-text essays and profiles drawn from high-quality publications including Chambers Biographical Dictionary, Current Biography, the Hutchinson Encyclopedia of Biography, and many more. The database also provides links to over 380,000 related full-text articles and over 35,000 images, as well as abstracts from thousands of periodicals, book review excerpts, and full-text reviews, for the most current coverage of an individual's life and work.

Britannica Online , Academic Edition
  The Encyclopedia Britannica Online, Academic Edition contains the full text of the encyclopedia, enhanced with additional features including a world atlas with country comparison data, a Research Tools section, a video collection, and Britannica Daily, featuring Biography of the Day, This Day in History, and Britannica Blog. The Britannica Online also includes Merriam-Webster's dictionary, containing 225,000 entries, including more than 10,000 new words and definitions.

Cabell's Directories: Business, Education, Psychology and Psychiatry
  From the opening screen, select the Directory you wish to access. Directories of journals in the fields of business (accounting, economics and finance, management, and marketing), education (curriculum, methods, psychology, administration, technology and library science), and psychology and psychiatry designed to aid scholars and researchers in the publication of manuscripts. For each journal, the directories provide current contact information (address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, web site URL) as well as information on publication guidelines, review information and circulation data.
Cambridge Journals Online
  A collection of over 360 high-quality journals published by Cambridge University Press. The collection is especially strong in the following subject areas: Mathematics, History, Law, Politics and International Relations, Language and Linguistics, Area Studies, Ecology and Conservation, Music, Psychology and Psychiatry, Biology and Biomedical Sciences, Classics, Computer Science, Earth and Atmospheric Science, Economics, Medicine, Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Social Studies.   The Catalog of U.S. Government Publications is the finding tool for electronic and print publications from the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the U.S. government. The Catalog contains over 500,000 descriptive records for historical and current publications and provides direct links to those that are available online. [July 1976 - present]

Child Welfare Information Gateway - Library Search
  The Child Welfare Information Gateway, a service of the Children's Bureau, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, maintains an extensive library of materials relating to child welfare, including child abuse prevention, out-of-home care, and adoption. Approximately 200 new items are added each month to its current collection of close to 50,000 items, including peer-reviewed articles, books, evaluation reports, grantee final reports, and program reports. This is a bibliographic database, but many of the items can be found in the Cheng Library's collection or online. [1908 - present]
Children's Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD)
  Contains over 1 million bibliographic records and more than 155,000 full-text reviews of children's books from a large variety of review sources. [1761 - present]

Chronicle of Higher Education
  The Chronicle of Higher Education is a major news publication covering the college and university sector. The online edition of the Chronicle is published every weekday and features news, advice, and jobs for people in academe. The Chronicle's Web site features the complete contents of the latest print format issue; daily news and advice columns; thousands of current job listings; an archive of previously published content; discussion forums; and career-building tools. Free personal accounts are available to members of the WPUNJ community in addition to the campus-wide subscription access. [1989 - Present]
CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health) with Full Text
  The Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) is the most comprehensive resource for locating published research in nursing and allied health. The full text version includes content from over 600 journals indexed in the database, with many article backfiles extending to 1981. Frequently updated, CINAHL also provides searchers with current awareness of the newest journal articles through a rotating file of "Pre-CINAHL" records containing citation information and links to full-text (where available). Clinical Evidence
  Clinical Evidence, produced by the BMJ Publishing Group, is a decision-support resource for health professionals providing evidence on the effects of common clinical interventions and systematic reviews of important clinical conditions. Clinical Evidence systematic reviews summarise the current state of knowledge and uncertainty about the prevention and treatment of clinical conditions, based on thorough searches and appraisal of the literature. It describes the best available evidence from systematic reviews, randomized controlled trials, and observational studies where appropriate, and if there is no good evidence it says so.
 
Cochrane Library
  The Cochrane Library is a collection of six databases containing different types of high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making. The Library contains full-text systematic reviews in health care, details of published articles on controlled trails (including the methods used), abstracts of systematic reviews that have been quality-assessed, details of completed and ongoing health technology assessments, and economic evaluations of competing healthcare interventions from around the world.
 
Columbia International Affairs Online
  Full-text resource containing working papers, policy briefs, books and book chapters, journal articles and abstracts, conference proceedings, case studies, and teaching materials for a wide range of topics in international affairs.
ComDisDome (Communication Sciences and Disorders Dome)
  Online portal to communication disorders information resources includes a bibliographic database with citations and abstracts for books, journal articles, and dissertations; directories to authors and institutions; a dictionary of speech-language pathology and audiology terms; and a database of web sites useful for research. Includes powerful browsing, searching and save/exporting features. The database currently contains over 280,000 records, and it is updated monthly. Now provided on the ProQuest Search Platform. Conference Board Research Online Collection
  Full-text research reports and presentations on topical business issues. Includes surveys and case studies of major companies and trends in the areas of strategy, corporate governance, organizational effectiveness, structure, leadership, human resources, ethics, customer relationship management, work force issues, and much more. The database also features working papers in economic research, current news on economic indicators and the monthly publication Straight Talk. [1998 - present]
Congressional Quarterly Library (CQ)
  From the opening screen, select the "CQ Researcher," the "CQ Weekly," or the "CQ Voting and Elections Collection." Full-text coverage is available for the Weekly from 1983 to the present and for the Researcher from November 1991 to the present.

Credo Reference's Academic Core
  The Credo Reference database is a portal to over 630 full-text reference titles from over 80 major publishers. Easy to search and browse, the Credo platform provides access to text, images, maps, statistics, and graphic concept maps to illustrate connections among and between topics. The titles, which range across subjects in art, biography, business, geography, history language, law, literature, medicine, music, philosophy, psychology, religion, science, the social sciences, and technology, are fully integrated through the Credo search platform, and the Credo database also provides numerous points for accessing other Cheng Library resources. Credo is a most useful starting point for general research on almost any topic.
 
Criminal Justice Abstracts (via EBSCO)
  Criminal Justice Abstracts, now provided through EBSCO, contains comprehensive coverage of international journals, books, reports, dissertations and unpublished papers on criminology and related disciplines. Subject areas covered by this database include crime trends, crime prevention and deterrence, juvenile delinquency, juvenile justice, police, courts, punishment and sentencing. Updated quarterly, there are currently over 100,000 citation records in the database. [1968 - Present]

European Views of the Americas: 1493 to 1750
  Produced in cooperation with the John Carter Brown Library, this database provides a comprehensive guide to printed records about the Americas written in Europe before 1750 from European Americana: A Chronological Guide to Works Printed In Europe Relating to the Americas, 1493-1750. The database contains more than 32,000 records, and covers the history of European exploration as well as portrayals of native American peoples. This authoritative bibliography is well-known and respected by scholars worldwide, and a valuable index for libraries, researchers and individuals interested in European works that relate to the Americas. It was co-developed by John Alden and the Curator of European Books at The John Carter Brown Library, Dennis Landis. The John Carter Brown Library, founded in 1846, is a foremost repository of rare books and materials and is a center for advanced research in history and the humanities. [1493 - 1750]

  Bibliographic database contains over 640,000 citations and abstracts for journal and magazine articles, books and book chapters, conference papers, and dissertations covering the world's scholarly literature on modern world history (15th century-present), excluding the United States and Canada. Includes material from over 2,690 journals and magazines written in over 40 languages. Most of the items in the database were issued after 1954. IBISWorld - U.S. Industry Reports and iExpert Industry Summaries
  A specialist in industry information, IBISWorld provides research and analysis of over 700 U.S. industries and almost 4,000 product segments. Its reports are written at the 5-digit level of the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) and they can be searched or browsed within the database according to NAICS code. The reports, updated regularly, provide detailed and comprehensive industry overviews, performance evaluations, an analysis of products and markets, the competitive landscape, an examination of major companies in each industry, operating conditions, and key statistics. The reports, which vary in length between approximately 30 and 50 pages, can be downloaded as complete PDF files, printed by individual section, or searched internally for key terms. The database also provides brief four-page summary reports for each industry covering key statistics, market share and external drivers, industry benchmarks including major markets and cost structure, an industry performance summary, and major industry issue and questions. The summary reports can also be downloaded and printed.
IngentaConnect
  IngentaConnect provides access to the article summaries of over 25,000 publications. Full-text content is available for individual titles on subscription.
International Directory of Company Histories (Volume 139, 2012 - Present)
  The International Directory of Company Histories offers accurate and detailed information on the development of the world's largest and most influential companies. Each three- to five-page entry is detailed with facts gathered from popular magazines, academic periodicals, books, annual reports and the archives of the companies themselves. Entries provide information on founders, expansions and losses, labor/management actions, NAICS codes, key dates, ticker symbol, principal subsidiaries, divisions, operating units, and competitors, along with relevant statistics, dates and the names of key players. The Directory, which is hosted on the Gale Virtual Reference Library platform, can be browsed or searched by keyword. As new volumes are published, they will be added to the online platform for expanded coverage.
International Index to Music Periodicals
  The International Index to Music Periodicals (IIMP) provides access to articles from over 400 scholarly and popular periodicals in the areas of classical music, opera, jazz, popular music and pop culture, music education, musicology, music theory, and many others. There is particularly strong coverage of performance, music education, and jazz. The database currently contains over 600,000 records, offering both current and retrospective coverage, with over 235,000 records from 1874 to 1996. [1874 - Present]

Jazz Music Library (Alexnader Street Press)

The Jazz Music Library, from Alexander Street Press, is a large audio database of recorded jazz from the early 1920s to the present, including all major jazz genres (vocal jazz, bebop, acid jazz, big band music, modern jazz, and more). The database currently provides streaming access to more than 130,000 tracks, with new recordings added monthly. The collection includes works licensed from legendary record labels, including Audiophile, Concord Jazz, Contemporary Records, Fantasy, Jazzology, Milestone, Nessa Records, Original Jazz Classics, Pablo, and Prestige. Labels being added include Circle Records, GHB Records, Good Time Jazz, GRP Records, Impulse, Peak, Riverside, Solo Art Records, Stretch Records, Verve, and dozens more.
JSTOR Arts and Sciences Collections (I through IX)
